  • When will my order ship?

    Most orders ship the same day!

  • Will I get a confirmation? Can I check order status? Can I track my shipment?

    Yes, yes and yes! You’ll get a confirmation email of your order with the expected ship date. Then you get a follow-up email when it ships, complete with tracking info.

  • Can you ship to my customer?

    Yes, we can! Whenever you ship to an address other than your own, we make sure to “neutralize” shipping paperwork at no extra charge. All paperwork will have only your company’s name on it, not Slice of Stainless.

  • Can I get test reports & mill certifications emailed to me?

    Yes, you can! Just add a note in our special instructions box with the email where you would like them sent. As always, we don’t charge for mill certs!

  • Is my credit card information secure?

    Yes, we use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), the best security technology for encryption between a web server and a browser. All your data remains private!

  • Will you share my email with anyone else?

    Never! We may send you emails from time to time directly from Slice of Stainless, but we will never, ever share your info with anyone else.

  • I don’t see the specification number listed that I need - does that mean you don’t stock it?

    Not at all, we may have it on the test reports. We list the most popular ones, but there are many more in our mill certifications. Call or email us and we’ll be happy to check.

  • Can I send a purchase order instead of placing my order online?

    Absolutely. But before you do, we want you to know some special benefits of ordering online. You’ll get a confirmation email, and we’ll follow that up with your tracking info as soon as your order ships. You’ll develop a history of orders that you can review at any time, so repeat orders are simple. But, hey, we know sometimes there’s a PO you’d rather have us enter. Send it to us here.

  • What are your cutting tolerances?

    Glad you asked, they’re right here.

  • Is your material domestic or DFARS compliant?

    Our material is always at least DFARS compliant. And most of it is domestic as well. Just note what you need in your special instructions.

  • Can we set up an open account with terms of net 30?
