Sales associate Trevor Cockayne just kicked off 2016 with another foster pup. Phoenix is nine weeks old, a lab and pit bull mix. She’ll be spending time at Slice of Stainless during the day and Trevor’s household at night. Phoenix, her mother and nine litter mates were abandoned at a shelter, but only five of the puppies survived. Fostering a puppy until a home can be found means a great dog won’t have to be euthanized.
